3 Reasons Why I Prefer Google Free Blogspot Platform Than Wordpress (paid And Free)
#1
The discussion on which platform is better or the best between Goggle blogspot (free) and wordpress (paid) cant be concluded with one coming top.

Every plaforms (including Wapka) have their merits and demerits.
Everybody will also have a reason for prefering one over another and i will be using the medium to point out my own reasons for chosing Blogspot over Wordpress.

Use of Custom Domain Name
Despite being a free platform and come with their own subdomain, they still allow you to use your own custom domain.
Apart from the fact that you can run a Google hosted blogger account with little or no skills, it is easy to direct a custom domain name to your blog yourself. A default Google hosted blog comes with names like mysitename.blogspot.com. Blogger platform makes it possible for you to change the name to http://www.mysite.com while remaining on the same platform.
The steps in setting a custom domain name for your blogspot blog are easy and you can set it yourself.
*** Today, a BlogMr user is complaining that when visitor are surfing his blog via the custom domain, commenting on post is hard and most time - the comment will not be posted, but when they are on the custom domain - everything will be okay. Google blogspot platform does not do such #Happy. Eitheir with their subdomain or custom domain, your blog will be working perfectly.***

With Google Tight Security, Your Blog is Less Vulnerable to Hackers
If you are a novice and you are looking for less troubles, or you want to stay away from hackers, then blogger is a good choice of platform. I remember having issues of hackers invading my wordpress site after i successfully migrated from blogger to wordpress at the initial stage of my blogging career. I was like "#ShitHappened" It was something i had never thought of facing. All the while i was on blogger, i never experienced any malware attack until when i was fully on WordPress.
*** Though the problems i encountered prepared a solid ground for me to learn some certain things about WordPress, it was really a hell in a cell before i could proffer solution to the problems i was faced with.***
Wouldn't want you to face these problems since you may not be able to combat it.

Unlimited Bandwidth
Though some paid hosting companies claim to be giving unlimited storage space and bandwidth, there are still some conditions attached to it (the first being at a high price). On the google hosted blogger platform, there is really no need to monitor your bandwidth consumption, as you get to depend on Google's free services for survival. They treat you better if your blog has not been marked as a spam blog though.
So if you are thinking of consuming more bandwidth and CPU usage for free, then Google hosted Blogger is simply the best option.

Do not rush in for other platforms because others are running into it. Run into it because you feel your level or the demand for such platform has been noticed.

There are lot of reasons for chosing Blogger, but the above 3 is important to me, if i could see any other free host with such feature, i will surely try them.

You're right to some extent but this limit is only when you're creating a blog, but talking about a more interactive web application, then you can never wave wordpress aside.
It takes so long to learn simplicity.

Initially, it was not meant for creating things aside than blog...

Using web hosting and moving to Wordpress was the beginning of my down fall in blogging .
I bought hosting from an unreliable webhost. Which packed up b4 one year.
So for that reason I don't trust any web host
When I go back to blogging I would use blogger.com
I can't be deceived
