TUTORIAL: How To Use Free Domain (.tk and .ga) On Blogspot
#1
Greetings to everyone! Please I need your help on this issue.

How can i change blogspot subdomain, .blogspot.com that we all know is always boring and too long for visitors to recall when they need to type it into their browsers to other free domains like, .TK, .GA etc?

I've searched for this similar thread here on this forum but i can't find it, that's why I've decided to ask you guys for help.

I shall very much appreciate your help. Thanks!

People have been using free domain for blogger but seriously it's only a waste of time when you want to change your domain to paid and you realise lot of linking has already been done on the paid one.

After doing that settings then you can head over to your blogspot and park your domain.

Hurray!! I've successfully parked my custom domain to blogspot.com. Thanks a lot Oga Dealwap, your guide was of great help, though i noticed a little deviation from the set up process at blogger from the guide you gave me here, i still manage to get through. Thanks once again!

@Aphatheology; Sequel to your request: Here's how I successfully park a custom domain, dot ml to blogspot.com.
Following the guide given above by oga Dealwap, I set up 3 A records and 1 CName Record and saved.
After some minutes i login to my blogger dashboard and entered the domain i set up.
Here's the response given me by blogspot:"We have not been able to verify your authority to this domain. Error 12.

On your domain registrar's website, locate your Domain Name System (DNS) settings and enter the following two CNAMEs:" Here, they supply me with one more CName Record in addition to ghs.google.com to add to my Registrar DNS records.
Again, I was asked to do this:If your domain provider supports it, download the DNS settings file.
Without waste of time, i downloaded the settings into my phone. After this i discovered that the file is not normal text, it looks like this:www.mysite.ml.zone. So, I try to open it via MobyFileExplorer app, but it didn't work...tobecontinued.

So, as Mobyfile explorer app couldn't access the file, i tried out my operamini 2 handler file explorer, and boom! the file opened. In it, i saw 4 IP Addresses to use in setting up the A Record: 216.239.32.21

216.239.34.21,

216.239.36.21,

216.239.38.21

Also included was a special TLD: 3600, to be added to all the 4 A records. Again, in addition to http://www.ghs.google.com, 2 distinct tokens, made up of mixed letters of the alphabet to be inserted into the Name box in the second CName Record and into its Target Box were provided.
I inserted this tokens after creating four A Records and the well know CName Record. Now I have 2 CName Records.
Next, I clicked Save Changes.

Logging out of my domain host site, i waited for about 5 minutes and eventually, i login to my blogger dashboard and headed over to settings, to park the domain.
Curious, I inserted the domain into the box provided for it, and boom! "the Settings were Saved Successfully," was the reply I got.
That's how it all happened!
