What Do You Think About Foldable Phones?

I was reading through some news articles when a particular article caught my attention, it is about newly made phones that are foldable. Some thought went through my mind like, what problem is this new invention going to solve, what is the essence of the foldable phone that is very expensive? what values will it add?
